There is no smoking permitted inside the buildings. Children are most welcome. Pets are not allowed.
The Farmhouse
Le Carroi Guérin is a very spacious property (over 700 square metres of total living space) recently restored and decorated by a Dutch interior designer using natural elements from the region.
It retains original features (tuffeau stone, beams, stone walls, a 15th century cave accessed through one of the rooms) whilst offering all the comforts of modern living.
The North Wing is fully equipped, providing 4 bedrooms (for max 8 people), 2 bathrooms, a large living room, a kitchen, a huge open barn ideal for outdoor dining, sun terraces and swimming pool.
The Setting
Sitting on a hilltop, with breathtaking views over the surrounding Touraine landscape, Le Carroi Guérin is near to the historic towns of Chinon, Richelieu, Tours, and Saumur and within very easy reach of the famous châteaux of the Loire Valley – the nearest, Château du Rivau, just a five minute walk away.
